A Missouri high school teacher quit her job after one of her students went online and allegedly discovered she had done pornographic work in the adult film industry, KMOV reports.
Tera Myers, a teacher at Parkway North High School near St. Louis, was suspended at a Kentucky school five years ago for the same unusual discovery.
District officials told KMOV that they were unaware of Myers’ background, and that her pornographic work was not illegal and did not show up on a background check. They added that none of her references talked about her past.
Myers will not be returning to teach in the fall, but will be paid until the end of the school year.
