LAS VEGAS -- The coroner in Las Vegas says a charred corpse found in the desert in northwest Arizona is not a Las Vegas Strip burlesque show dancer reported missing almost two weeks ago.

Clark County Coroner Mike Murphy said Friday that investigators haven't been able to identify the dead woman found near Lake Mead on the Arizona side of the Hoover Dam.

But he tells The Associated Press she's definitely not Deborah Flores-Narvaez.

The body was found Thursday in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, about 35 miles east of Las Vegas.

Las Vegas police Officer Jacinto Rivera says the Mohave County sheriff will investigate because the body was found in Arizona.

Flores-Narvaez was reported missing after failing to perform Dec. 14 at the "Fantasy" show at the Luxor hotel-casino.
