Dive teams resumed their search of an Oregon island for any sign of missing 8-year-old Kyron Horman, who disappeared more than five months ago.

Lt. Mary Lindstrand of the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said the teams were at Sauvie Island -- a northwest Portland island -- over the weekend, looking for any clues in the boy's disappearance.

The island has been a focal point in the past in the search for Kyron, who was last seen June 4 after a science fair at his Portland elementary school, Skyline School.

Eight law enforcement agencies and fire departments assisted in Saturday's search, kptv.com reports.

Authorities would not say if a new lead prompted them to resume the search at that location, according to the station.
