FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. -- A Panhandle yard sale shopper's potted violet contained a touch of Grandma Marge.

Piper Gaffrey, of Fort Walton Beach, told the Northwest Florida Daily News on Wednesday that the potted violet, which contained her grandmother's ashes, was accidentally sold at the weekend sale.

Gaffrey scattered some of her 99-year-old grandmother's ashes in the violet when she died in February.

The person who bought the plant returned after reading Gaffrey's frantic Internet postings.
