An employee at a Hollywood, Calif., marijuana dispensary was killed Thursday night during an apparent robbery, Los Angeles police reported, according to MyFoxAtlanta.com.
"It is a homicide," said LAPD Officer Karen Rayner. "It appears to be a robbery."
Rayner said she is unsure how the person was killed, MyFoxAtlanta reported.
Police are investigating whether this robbery and homicide are connected to an earlier armed robbery at another Calif. marijuana dispensary, where one employee was shot and killed and another critically wounded.
"The sole employee in the store was found dead by the owner of the store," Police Sgt. Don Lawrence said of the first armed robbery.
Police are investigating both incidents.
