Bill would legalize medical marijuana in US territory of Guam

HAGATNA, Guam (AP) — A measure to legalize the use of marijuana for medical reasons is being considered in the U.S. territory of Guam.

The bill by Sen. Rory Respicio was introduced Tuesday to allow licensed physicians to prescribe marijuana to qualified patients. It would also establish "compassionate health care centers" to grow, process and dispense marijuana by prescription only.
