The cover girl for the September 2013 issue of Lucky Magazine insists her red-carpet style is a lot easier to master than you think.
One of Lively's best tricks? Knowing what looks good on her figure.
"I like a waistline, a nip almost right under the boobs, because I want the lines of the clothes to make a journey around my curves, rather than travel straight up my body,” she explains.
When it comes to accessories, it helps that Lively counts shoe designer Christian Louboutin as a friend she texts for advice when she can't decide what pair to wear. (We can dream, right?)
The 25-year-old actress also suggests making a collection out of your favorite accessories so you’ll always have something to enhance your personal style. In Lively’s case, she collects scarves, plastic bangles, cocktail rings, flea market finds, and of course, Louboutins.
Finally? Never be afraid to try new things.
“I should hope I dress differently at 25 than I did when I graduated high school," she says. "I hope I never stop changing.”
