Lindsay Lohan told People magazine she was hanging around the wrong crowd, and didn't have her priorities straight prior to going to rehab, but her lifestyle has changed.

"I think it was just situations that I was putting myself in," she told the magazine at a photo exhibit last week in New York. "I was putting myself in the wrong situations and I didn't have the focus in the right place."

Lohan told the magazine that since leaving Cirque Lodge Treatment center in Utah nearly six months ago, she has purged herself of bad influences and hangers-on.

"I did — I changed things," she told People.

It has been her family that is keeping her on track.

""My family has always been important to me, and they've always supported me," Lohan told People.

The 21-year-old actress is recording a new album and is set to start filming a new Jack Black movie.

"I think this is what I love to do," she told People. "I'm just continuing to do it – in the right ways."
