Sleeping Texas Boy, 7, Hit by Stray Bullet

A 7-year-old boy was shot in the leg when a bullet passed through an upstairs window of his family's Dallas apartment, MyFOXDFW.com reported.

Someone fired a gunshot at the apartment around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday and struck him in the back of his leg, police told the station.

Police said they don't think the boy or his family were the intended target of the gunshots.

The boy was taken to a local hospital and was listed in good condition, the station reported.
