FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) The New York Jets have hired former Pro Bowl defensive tackle La'Roi Glover as an assistant defensive line coach.

The team also announced Tuesday that it reassigned Robby Brown to defensive assistant after two years as the Jets' offensive quality control coach, rounding out Todd Bowles' staff for next season.

Glover will work with new defensive line coach Robert Nunn, who replaced Pepper Johnson.

Glover spent the last seven seasons with the Rams as the team's director of player engagement. He made six consecutive Pro Bowls from 2000-05 during his 13-year NFL career. Glover led the league with 17 sacks in 2000, and finished with 83 1/2 for his career.
