The Cleveland Browns have parted ways with quarterback Josh McCown and DB Tramon Williams, the team announced Tuesday.

The 37-year old McCown started in 11 games in two seasons in Cleveland after signing with the Browns in 2015 but battled concussion and collarbone injuries throughout his tenure with the team.

Williams, 33, also joined Cleveland in 2015 after eight seasons in Green Bay, where he won a Super Bowl championship and was a Pro Bowler. He recorded 36 tackles and an interception last season, and was due to make $5.7 million in 2017.

Just a day earlier, the Browns, who were 1-15 last season, claimed defensive back Tyvis Powell on waivers.
