The Denver Broncos added some depth to their rushing attack Monday, reportedly picking up former Pro Bowl running back Justin Forsett off waivers.

The move comes a day after backup Kapri Bibbs suffered an ankle injury against the Jaguars on Sunday. Bibbs left EverBank Field wearing a walking boot.

"That's just a precaution,'' Bibbs said. "It's just a sprain. I'll be fine.''

The Broncos placed Bibbs on IR to make room for Forsett.

Forsett reunites with Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak, who was the Ravens' offensive coordinator when Forsett enjoyed his lone Pro Bowl season in 2014. The 31-year-old running back ran for 1,266 yards that season but hasn't come close to replicating that production.

The Broncos have had just one player eclipse 100 rushing yards in a game this season. C.J. Anderson rushed for 107 yards in Week 7 against the Texans before he was placed on injured reserve.
