The Arizona Cardinals announced Monday that they had re-signed starting tight end Darren Fells to a one-year deal.

Fells (6-feet-7, 281 pounds) set career highs with 21 catches for 311 yards and three touchdowns in 2015, then had four catches for 50 yards and one touchdown in two postseason games.

The Cardinals also announced the signing of cornerback Shaun Prater to a future contract for 2016. He is a four-year veteran who played one game for Indianapolis and one for Denver last season after previous stints with Cincinnati, Minnesota and Philadelphia.
