LSU got a big boost to its prospects for the 2016 season -- as both Tre'Davious White and Kendell Beckwith announced they will return for their senior seasons on Monday.

Beckwith had 84 total tackles a season ago, including 10.0 tackles for loss. Not only did he command the defense supremely well from a communication standpoint, but Beckwith was a tackling-machine from the middle 'backer spot. His experience will also be immense for a projected group lacking it in '16.

White has proven over the course of his career to be both an exceptional corner and return man. With LSU losing multiple players within its secondary, White will return to school as perhaps the leader of the group. Without question, he will also be considered one of the top corners in the entire SEC.

The return of White and Beckwith cap off a very successful offseason for the Tigers. Usually slammed by early defections to the NFL, Les Miles loves the fact that White, Beckwith, Ethan Pocic, Lewis Neal, Christian LaCouture, and Travin Dural all came back for another year.

Offensive lineman Jerald Hawkins was the only prospect to leave early for the 2016 NFL Draft.
