Running back Kenny Hilliard headlined the list of nine players the Houston Texans signed to reserve/futures contracts on Monday, the team announced.

Hilliard, Houston's 2015 seventh-round pick out of LSU, ran 48 times for 109 yards in the preseason before being released in September. He was added to the team's offseason roster along with wide receiver Josh Lenz, tight end Eric Tomlinson, offensive linemen Dalton Freeman and Karim Barton, defensive end Dan Pettinato and linebackers Tony Washington, Robert Nelson, and Gerald Rivers.

All nine were on the Texans' practice squad in 2015.
