Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Dan Skuta, who has missed three of the last four games with a groin injury, said he'll try to play in Sunday's home game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Skuta practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday. His return would be a boon to a Jaguars' run defense which gave up 210 yards on the ground to the Tennessee Titans in last Sunday's 42-39 loss.

"It gets to the point where it's like, 'What the heck,''' Skuta said, per the team's official website. "I definitely want to get out there as soon as possible.''

Skuta missed Jacksonville's Nov. 15 win over the Ravens before re-aggravating his injury the following game in the team's 19-13 win over the Tennessee Titans.

Rookie Thurston Armbrister started in place of Skuta the last two games but was replaced by Jordan Tripp in last week's loss to the Titans.

In nine games this season, Skuta has made 30 tackles along with 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
