Vikings WR Stefon Diggs is drawing comparisons to one of the team's all-time greatest. Chris Humphreys USA TODAY Sports

The eye test tells us that Stefon Diggs has been the Minnesota Vikings' most sensational wide receiver since Randy Moss, but now we have the numbers to back it up.

Through his first four NFL games, Diggs has 25 catches. That total ties Moss for the most by any Vikings rookie during a stretch of four consecutive games.

It's particularly impressive that Diggs has done this in the first four games of his career, especially after starting the season as a regular healthy scratch.

Diggs has quickly become the Vikings' most productive pass-catcher. He's averaging over 100 receiving yards per game, and some of his contributions have come when the Vikings need them most -- like this 40-yard touchdown against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

That score tied the game at 20 with less than two minutes to play. The Vikings would go on to beat the Bears, 23-20, at Soldier Field with a walk-off field goal from Blair Walsh.
