ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) The Denver Broncos have agreed to a one-year deal with veteran offensive tackle Tyler Polumbus and released safety Josh Bush.

Polumbus was released by the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday.

He drew the Broncos' interest because rookie left tackle Ty Sambrailo is dealing with an injured left shoulder that he hurt in the fourth quarter of Denver's win at Detroit on Sunday night.

Polumbus, 30, has played in the zone blocking scheme in Denver (2008-09), Seattle (2010-11), Washington (2011-14) and Atlanta (2015) during an eight-year NFL career that includes 57 starts.

He began his career as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado.
