The Chicago Bears need to sort out their defense, now that outside linebacker Jared Allen has been traded to the Carolina Panthers. An unofficial depth chart has Sam Acho taking over Allen's starting role in the Bears' defense, per a Tweet from Bears Insider.

The Bears originally cut Acho just before the regular season started due to an illness. Chicago re-signed Acho a couple days later, after a 31-23 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 1. The linebacker has recorded three tackles since rejoining the team.

In a recent interview on WBBM Newsradio 780, Bears head coach John Fox suggested that Willie Young -- not Acho -- would see a bump in playing time with Allen no longer in the mix (h/t 247Sports). Young led the team in sacks last season with 10.0 and is trying to make the transition from defensive end to outside linebacker.

While Acho is listed as a starter on the Bears' unofficial depth chart, Young is listed as a second-stringer with Lamarr Houston behind Acho and Pernell McPhee.
