Arizona Cardinals running back Chris Johnson spent the offseason training for another opportunity in the NFL after he had been through tragedy.

Johnson, who was shot in the shoulder in March, told police that an unknown vehicle pulled up at a red light and opened fire. Johnson's friend would not survive.

But as Johnson prepares for his first start against the Chicago Bears, he recently told FOX Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer about how he received a text message seconds before the car was fired on, which he believes saved his life.

It's an amazing comeback story for a running back entering his eighth season in the league.
