Wide receiver Terrelle Pryor worked out for the New England Patriots on Monday, but left without a contract. Now, a division rival is taking advantage of the opportunity to sign the quarterback-turned-wide receiver.

According to Dianna Marie Russini of ESPN, the New York Jets are expected to host Pryor for a workout as a wide receiver.

Pryor was cut by the Cleveland Browns as they didn't feel he could contribute as a receiver, but the Patriots and Jets seem to believe he has a place on their respective teams.

While no signing is reportedly imminent with the Jets or Patriots, Pryor seems to have generated some interest around the league. The Jets aren't as desperate for a wide receiver as the Patriots are, but they could use a spark on offense.
