Veteran kicker Robbie Gould broke the Chicago Bears franchise record for field goals made on Sunday versus the Green Bay Packers. Gould entered the game tied for the leading mark and finished the day with three three-pointers, setting the new record at 246 field goals made.

Gould, 33, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent and has been with the Bears since 2005. He was named to the Pro Bowl after the 2006 season and has converted 85.7 percent of his field goal attempts during his 11-year pro career in Chicago.

Gould is 3-for-3 so far this season; he'll continue to extend his lead on Chicago's previous record-holder, Kevin Butler (1985-1995), so long as he stays healthy and accurate.

The Bears congratulated Gould on Twitter after he hit his first field goal on Sunday and claimed sole possession of the franchise record.
