LeGarrette Blount's training camp didn't get off to a great start on Wednesday, as he reportedly failed his conditioning test. Blount, who's expected to be the No. 1 back this season, had to run 20 sprints of 50 yards in eight seconds, but only completed 12, according to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe.

Blount will also start training camp on the non-football injury list, of which he can come off of at any time during camp. He was among three players placed on the NFI list Wednesday, along with defensive tackle Alan Branch and offensive lineman Caylin Hauptmann.

Blount will need to pass his conditioning test before he can participate in practice. He'll also need to get in better shape as he can expect a heavy workload early in the season with Tom Brady missing the first four games.
