Manti Te'o found it tough to adapt to the speed of the game with a cast on his foot.

It's amazing what a clean bill of health can do for the third-year linebacker's mentality.

"I can't tell you how much different it is," Te'o told U-T San Diego. "It feels so comfortable out there, to finally be out there and just play ball."

Back-to-back broken feet stunted Teo's professional growth. The former Notre Dame product had to sit and watch as his team drafted another second-round linebacker, Miami's Denzel Perryman, this spring.
