Rome, Italy – Lazio signed Uruguay forward Emiliano Alfaro on Thursday from Uruguayan side Liverpool FC of Montevideo.
Alfaro, 23, made the switch on an undisclosed transfer fee and joins the Italy side on a contract through the 2015-16 season.
He made his debut for Uruguay in November in a friendly against Italy. Alfaro debuted for Liverpool in 2006 when he was 18.
