The Los Angeles Kings have been playing well of late despite a lack of offense -- a department Marco Sturm could help out in.

Sturm was activated from the injured reserve list and will be in the lineup Wednesday night for the Kings against the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center. He has missed the past 13 games because of tendinitis in his knee.

The 32-year-old Sturm has 4 goals and 8 points in 15 games for the Kings this season. Los Angeles acquired him from Boston in December for future considerations because the Bruins needed the salary cap relief.

The Kings have gone 5-1-3 during their 10-game stretch away from Staples Center, and are currently eighth in the Western Conference. They have been held to two goals or less in 8 of the past 15 games.
