Florida GOP Sen. Marco Rubio will join Mitt Romney's upcoming bus tour when it arrives in Florida, Fox News confirmed Monday evening.

"The Romney Plan for a Stronger Middle Class" bus tour begins Saturday in Virginia, then stops Sunday in North Carolina, Monday in Florida and Tuesday in Ohio.

The Office of Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell has confirmed the governor will join the tour Saturday. And Fox News has confirmed that Ohio Sen. Rob Portman will join the tour in his home state.

McDonnell, Portman and Rubio have been mentioned as potential GOP vice presidential nominees, with a decision expected any day.

The exact stops in the battleground states have yet to be announced.

This is Romney's second official bus tour in his 2012 presidential campaign. In June, he did a five-day tour through New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan.
