If your training program does not have a day that’s dedicated to alignment, postural work and energy building, then you are missing out on a key element of your training!

One of the secrets to training hard is recovering smart. Effective recovery is extremely important to getting the results you desire. Besides helping to prevent injury, recovery work keeps you improving and on track with your program.

Here are a few things that are a must to keeping your body organized:

Focus on having quality alignment!
There are many postural exercises that help reverse the ill affects of sitting, and help “reset” the body for another round of harder work.

Stretching and tissue health.
Learning self-release myofascial techniques assist in regeneration of your tissue and assists with recovery.

Digestive cleanse. It may be what you leave out of your diet that creates the best opportunity for vibrant health. Take a couple weeks to clear out the processed food, sugar and any other crap you may be putting in your body.

Sleep. Getting quality sleep makes a huge difference in getting the most out of your body’s natural healing potential every night. Taking time to simply rest can be great for lowering stress levels and rebuilding your energy. Find a special spot at home, in a park or in your mind to get quiet and rest.
