Maybe the New Year means that Selena Gomez is going to give her on again-off again relationship with Justin Bieber another try.
For the first time in a long time the exes were spotted together just after the New Year riding segways around The Oaks, a gated community in Calabasas, were the 19-year-old pop singer currently resides.
A Twitter user captured the snapshots of Bieber and Gomez, 21 and shared the pics with the world.
Another Twitter user gave a little recap of the rendezvous, that apparently included holding up traffic.
In a photo that has since been taken down, but posted in various websites, Nick Sanitsky tweeted, “Bieber and Selena segwaying in the Oaks. She was so nice, so he yelled at us.”
“Shoutout to @justinbeiber for holding up all the traffic in the Oaks. Grow up,” he followed up. “Thanks to @justinbieber told us to f*** off, and his bodyguards blocked the road, so hello to my new followers!”
Sanitsky ended with: “Gotta admit, I was kinda starstruck by @selenagomez but @justinbieber ruined the moment.”
TMZ first reported the sighting.
According to E! Online, reps for the famous exes declined to comment, but that didn’t stop Bieber from adding fuel to the fire.
Several days after the segway incident, the “Boyfriend” singer shared a cuddly picture of the two on his Instagram account.
“Love the way you look at me,” Bieber captioned the picture.
Gomez and Bieber broke up in November 2012. He recently opened up about his feelings for his ex-girlfriend when he stopped by Big Boy’s Neighborhood in Los Angeles’s hip-hop station Power 106.
"I wrote the best music once my heart was broken," he said on Dec. 18. "'All That Matters' was written when I was in a great place in my relationship, and at that time, she was all that mattered in my life."
