Fans of “Modern Family” were in for a major surprise on Wednesday when Sarah Hyland’s character Haley Dunphy turned down a marriage proposal from her boyfriend Rainer Shine (Nathan Fillion). This major move could potentially mean Haley will get back with former love interest Andy (Adam DeVine).

In the highly talked-about episode, audiences witnessed a visibly shaken Haley, who rambled when the subject of marriage came up while having dinner with Rainer.
