Kenny Rogers and Hugh Jackman are two celebs that you wouldn’t think have much in common but the country legend and Wolverine have both gone public detailing their skin cancer scares.

On Wednesday, the 75-year-old crooner posted a photo of himself on Instagram with a  bandaged face along with the caption, “…but you should see the other guy!”

He then added, “Had a bit of skin cancer removed today – I recommend everyone to go get checked, especially since May is National Skin Cancer Detection & Prevention Month. Don’t worry though, I’m gonna look great in Knoxville this weekend!”

Last week Hugh Jackman walked the red carpet at the “X-Men” premiere sporting a bandage on his nose telling reporters that he had cancerous cells removed.

In November, the 45-year-old actor posted a photo on his Instagram account showing where he’d had skin cancer removed. He has since pleaded with people to get checked and wear sunscreen.
