Thieves stole $10 million in jewelry after tying Kardashian up
In the upcoming episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” Kim Kardashian is seen reacting to news in January that arrests were made in connection to the October 2016 robbery when the reality star was attacked at a Paris hotel.
“I honestly never thought that they would catch the robbers,” the 36-year-old star admits to the E! reality cameras. “I just thought so much time has gone on and I didn’t really realize how diligent the French police were being and just all the hard work they were really putting into it.”
She added to her sister Kourtney Kardashian that the robbery was eye-opening and has permanently changed her.
“Life is always going to be different,” Kanye West’s wife says during the episode. “Now I just have to be super aware of everything that I do and who I share it with.”
The star added that she is the jarred by the fact that people with close ties to her could have been involved in the heist.
“Knowing that it’s a possibility that people close to me were involved makes me feel I can’t trust anyone. And that really sucks. It just opened up my eyes that this happens and that there’s really bad people in this world.”
The star said her demeanor has changed and she has to be more cautious about what she shares.
“I can still live my life, but just on edge.”
