Jeremy Renner has changed his tune regarding women in Hollywood.
The actor came under fire in 2015 for calling the character of Black Widow in "The Avengers" a "slut."
Renner later apologized for his remarks but now he seems to have gone one step further by advocating for more female roles in Hollywood productions.
"There’s not enough cinema in Hollywood where we have a strong, badass, female, smart, intelligent lead," Renner said at a CinemaCon 2016 presentation, according to EW.
The actor's most recent comments come after he commented on Jennifer Lopez's breasts at the Golden Globes and said it's not his job to negotiate equal pay for his female costars.
