Blake Shelton has never urinated on a mailbox, for the record.

The singer is suing Bauer Publishing over an In Touch cover story that claimed his boozing lifestyle forced him into rehab and almost ruined his career.

After the mag ran the headline “Rehab for Blake” in September, the country crooner shot down its claims in his $2 million lawsuit.

“I have never been to rehab. I did not then, nor have I ever, hit rock bottom. I do not drink excessively, binge drink or have a drinking problem. I do not drink vodka before 11 a.m. I am never drunk, intoxicated, or unable to perform my job on ‘The Voice.’ I do not slur my words or stumble when I drink. I have never urinated on a mailbox,” he said in the suit.

Shelton, who split from wife Miranda Lambert last year, also accused In Touch of making up stories about him stepping out on her: “My ex-wife . . . did not catch me with a bunch of naked women in our Tennessee home.”

Shelton has since moved on with Gwen Stefani.

Bauer fired back that its story was “substantially true” and is asking to have the suit tossed.
