Zendaya wasn’t pleased with how she was portrayed in Modeliste Magazine.

On Tuesday night, the actress and singer slammed the publication for slimming down her hips and thighs for its latest issue.

“Had a new shoot come out today and was shocked when I found my 19 year old hips and torso quite manipulated,” she wrote in a side-by-side of the retouched and original photos. “These are the things that make women self conscious, that create the unrealistic ideals of beauty that we have.”

Zendaya, who recently received her own Barbie, says she stands for honesty and pure self-love. “So I took it upon myself to release the real pic (right side) and I love it,” she wrote.

Despite criticizing the magazine for its heavy hand in retouching, she praised the editors for correcting the situation.

“Thank you @modelistemagazine for pulling down the images and fixing this retouch issue,” she concluded.
