Kate Winslet wants everyone who visits her home to experience her Oscar for “The Reader.”

The star tells WSJ Magazine that she keeps the statue in her bathroom so guests can give mock acceptance speeches in the mirror.

“The whole point is for everybody to pick it up and go, ‘I’d like to thank my son and my dad’ — and you can always tell when someone has, because they’re in there a little bit longer . . . They’ll come out looking slightly pink-cheeked. It’s hysterical,” she said.

Winslet also discusses her two failed marriages. “I didn’t plan on it being that way . . . It hasn’t been easy, you know. No one really knows what has happened in my life. No one really knows why my first marriage didn’t last; no one knows why my second didn’t. And I’m proud of those silences,” she said.

But she’s happy with Ned Rocknroll, whom she wed in 2012. “Thank God for Ned . . . He’s just so incredibly supportive and he’s so much fun. He’s absolutely everything to me.”
