Last September, legendary singer Cher cancelled the remaining dates on her Dressed to Kill concert tour after battling a virus, leaving fans crestfallen. But now the “Turn Back Time” singer is finally recovered.

“I’m feeling great,” she told Closer magazine, adding, “I’m not dying!”

The 68-year-old performer was flattened by a potentially fatal virus that affected her kidney function and threatened her heart. It also forced her to wear a monitor to keep track of her cardiac activity. The diagnosis left her reeling “mostly because she was letting her fans down,” divulged a source.

“For the first time in her life, she learned to slow down and methodically build up strength,” said the insider. And now that she’s fully recovered she intends on remounting the tour. “She’s happier and healthier than she has been in years,” the source added.
