Kimberly Williams-Paisley appeared on "The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson" and opened up about her mother's dementia.
"My mother was diagnosed with dementia in her early 60s about ten years ago," she revealed. "So we've been going through a lot of changes in our family right now."
The actress and wife of country superstar Brad Paisley admits that she regrets not asking her mother before she fell ill about her long-term care preferences.
The 43-year-old mom of two confessed to going through emotions like denial, anger and sadness but sees a silver lining in the situation -- being able to promote Alzheimer's research and make more people aware of the illness.
