Here's what's happening out there:

On Thursday, Katy Perry arrived for a Super Bowl press conference wearing a football-themed ensemble (below). Unfortunately, she was merely there to discuss her half-time performance, and not to announce that she was now the Seahawks' new kicker, as her ripped calf muscles seemed to suggest:

Anybody on a low-carb diet knows how tough it is to give up pizza and pasta. But what they don't know is that they can get all those great flavors without the carbohydrates thanks to Danielle Page's unique "Pizza Pasta" recipe. Watch how she whips it up in the video above, then

In other Katy Perry news, the singer also claimed that her Super Bowl half-time show will include lions, sharks, and a surprise guest that will "make jaws drop," because lions and sharks apparently aren't enough anymore. (Update: The AP already revealed that Perry's surprise guest is Missy Elliot. You can decide for yourselves if that's better than a lion.)

Florence Henderson, the 80-year-old actress best known as Carol Brady from TV's "The Brady Bunch," recently revealed that she's involved in a friends-with-benefits situation with an acquaintance of hers in Florida. This friend is also said to be a chiropractor, which no doubt comes in handy after a steamy round of octegenarian buddy-sex.

Victoria's Secret model Erin Heatherton has been announced as one of this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue "rookies," meaning that she'll be making her SI Swimsuit debut in the 2015 edition. So now, in addition to knowing what she looks like we'll now know what she looks like wearing barely anything near a beach:

Disney has announced plans to debut their first-ever Latina princess character, named Princess Elena, on the Disney Junior channel sometime in 2016. That gives all you parents out there a whole year to save your hard-earned money for the truckloads of Elena-branded crap your kids will inevitably force you to buy.

A trailer for the fifth season of "Game of Thrones" leaked online on Friday morning (below), giving fans a sneak peek at all the intense violence, bitter rivalries, and dour David Bowie covers we can expect from the upcoming episodes:

Despite having a hit song that's probably blaring in several Hollister outlets right now, "All About That Bass" singer Meghan Trainor told a U.K. publication that she hasn't yet made any money from the sale of her music. It seems her mama taught her to be confident in her body, but not how to proofread a recording contract.

"Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi, 44, recently shared a bikini photo on Instagram (below), and remarked in the caption that her friend "claims it looks like [she has] a penis in this pic." Now let's all take a look at it below, because we all know we want to:

In a new post on Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP lifestyle website, Paltrow sings the praises of something called a "Mugworth V-Steam," which is a spa treatment that cleanses your inner ladyparts via infrared technology and steam. "Finally, a spa treatment that mimics the kind of human rights violations I only hear about on the news!" said not one of GOOP's readers.

Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for "Ted 2," the sequel to the highly successful 2013 film about a vulgar talking bear and his pet Mark Wahlberg. Before clicking, be warned: This preview really hits the ground running, and by "running," we mean "knocking over a shelf of genetic samples at a Boston sperm bank."

According to Page Six, Johnny Depp and fiancee Amber Heard are getting married next weekend on his private island in the Bahamas, and not on a pirate ship in the middle of Tim Burton's koi pond, as we originally assumed.

International pop star Shakira and boyfriend Girard Pique announced the birth of their second child on Friday, a baby boy they named Sasha. Shakira has since noted on her website that "Sasha" means "defender of mankind," which is kind of a lot of pressure to put on a little kid, don't you think?

And finally, the nominees for the Academy of Country Music Awards were announced on Friday morning. To no one's surprise, Miranda Lambert leads the pack with eight nominations, so we can probably expect her to add at least four or five ugly ACM trophies to her growing collection.
