Patrick Swayze’s widow has remarried. Lisa Niemi wed jeweler Albert DePrisco in Palm Beach, Florida on Sunday reports People.
Two days before the nuptials the 57-year-old actress and dancer divulged to the magazine that she was excited for the big day. "What I most look forward to on my wedding day is walking up, standing at our altar, and looking into his most incredible, twinkling eyes," she said. "I cannot think of a bigger treat than that."
The couple were married in a small ceremony at the Mar-a-Lago Club in front of 50 guests. She wore an Oscar de la Renta gown while the 58-year-old groom wore an Ermenegildo Zegna dinner jacket with custom slacks.
They were serenaded by a string quartet playing Haydn and Mozart which was put together by Niemi’s nephew, Will and his wife Heidi, both concert violinists.
She was also looking forward to cutting a rug on the dance floor. “We’ll dance to everything from Michael Buble and Steve Tyrell, to 70’s classics, to current hits, with a big dash of romance thrown in,” she enthused.
Niemi was married to actor Patrick Swayze for 34 years until he died of pancreatic cancer in September 2009. She met DePrisco through mutual friends three years later.
