Robin Thicke is just trying to repair his marriage.

The “Blurred Lines” singer spoke openly about his recent separation from wife Paula Patton yesterday when a TMZ cameraman caught up with him at the airport.

“You know, I’m just trying to get her back man,” he told the cameraman.

The site reported that the singer was candid about the breakup during a performance in Virginia, telling the crowd, “For those of you who don't know my wife and I got separated a few days ago... But, you know, I want everybody here to know that I'm trying to get my girl back... She's a good woman."

He then performed the song “Lost Without U” for the audience and dedicated it to Patton, explaining that she had encouraged him to "tell the truth" and share that he is working to get her back.

Thicke and Patton began dating when she was just 14 years old, and they married in 2005. Recently they’ve been plagued by cheating rumors, which began after Thicke’s controversial Video Music Awards performance with Miley Cyrus.

The pop superstar was also photographed spending time with other women in clubs, and one photo in particular showed him grabbing a woman’s butt.

They announced on Monday that they were separating. The couple has one son together, 3-year-old Julian Fuego.
