After several weeks keeping her new romance very hush-hush, Eva Longoria is ready to let the world meet the new man in her life.

Over the weekend, the “Desperate Housewives” star stepped out with Jose “Pepe” Antonio Baston, a wealthy businessman, president of Latin America media giant Televisa.

“He’s been sweeping her off her feet and courting her like a proper gentleman,” a source told People.

The 45-year-old executive escorted the actress/producer, 38, to the Museo Jumex opening dinner at Case De La Bola in Mexico City, where they were happily photographed as they made their way down their first red carpet together.

The duo was first linked together last month after reports wrongly claimed Longoria was back together with ex-boyfriend Eduardo Cruz.

Longoria denied the reports on Twitter that she and on-again, off-again boyfriend Cruz were spotted kissing during a dinner in New York City.

The actress simply tweeted, “Sorry this is just not true,” followed by a link to E! News that initially reported the hookup.

Cruz also denied reports on Twitter, saying he was in California with his girlfriend. He attached a photo of his car cruising down a mountainside road.

The actress was instead with her new beau were at New York’s Serafina restaurant. A source told People that Longoria was “very happy” and that he is “crazy about her.”
