Students at a Bronx High School got to meet their idol - Juanes.
"Dancing with the Stars" is getting a Latino makeover.
Colombian superstar Juanes is taking over ABC’s dancing competition and bringing his rock star tunes to the show.
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Juanes will be the entertainer for the show’s “Latin Night” taking place on April 29. He is scheduled to perform an all Spanish-language set.
The announcement follows the launch earlier this week of his memoir, “Chasing the Sun," written in both English and Spanish.
The Times is also reporting that Juanes will be starting his “Loud and Unplugged” tour this spring.
Back in November Juanes rocked the annual Latin Grammy celebration and even took home the Grammy for best Latin pop album — showing that he is ready to cater to his English language speaking fans.
He revealed then that he is planning to cross over and sing in English in his next album. "Now I can sing in English easier than before," he said backstage.
Other Latinos who have left an impression on DWTS include Army veteran J.R. Martinez, telenovela hunks William Levy and Cristina de la Fuente, and most recently boxing champ Victor Ortiz.
