After six seasons full of drama, romance and fashion-forward outfits, the CW's "Gossip Girl" has signed off the air.

Last night's two-hour series finale tied up some loose ends, and most notably, revealed the identity of the titular "Gossip Girl." If you haven't yet seen the episode, titled "New York, I Love You XOXO," stop reading now — the blogger behind the gossip site was revealed to be Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley). It's been he, all along, who has been dishing the dirt on his closest friends and frenemies, including Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively), Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) and Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford).

Notable moments included a behind-the-scenes intro, in which the cast and creators of the show recounted some of their most memorable times while working on the show. Then, during the actual episode, a flash-forward element was added to the storyline, transporting viewers five years into the future for a peek into the lives of our favorite characters.

Fans are no doubt sad to see "Gossip Girl" go,  but what were your thoughts on last night's finale? Was it a fitting end to the series? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
