The metal band Skid Row will be stocking up on hair spray in the very near future.

Lead singer Sebastian Bach announced on his Facebook page that his band will be releasing their first album since 2006, and going on "an epic tour of sheds, arenas, casinos & marinas that will span the globe!"

"It looks like the stars have finally aligned!" he said adding, "We are going to start immediately on our new CD ... We are all getting along famously! Or infamously, as the (hard) case may be!"

Skid Row performed on a heavy metal cruise last year, but Bach has since been focusing on his solo work, putting out the CD "Kicking and Screaming," and co-starring in the film version of the Broadway smash hit "Rock of Ages, which stars Tom Cruise.

Bach, 43, told Fox411.com a few months ago that he's not as wild as he used to be when Skid Row hit it bin the the 80s.

"We used do a lot of crazy things back then,” admits Bach. “I still get crazy once in a while, but just less crazy. I’ve never been a guy that wakes up drinking. I’ll wait until I’m done (with) work. I don’t smoke cigarettes, I don’t do shots – the only thing I like is red wine.”
