"Bones" actress Emily Deschanel and her actor husband David Hornsby welcomed a baby boy Wednesday.

The couple named their first child Henry Hornsby, Deschanel's representative told People.

Deschanel, who stars in the FOX crime drama, and Hornsby, who plays Matthew "Rickety Cricket" Mara on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," were married in Los Angeles in September last year.

The 34-year-old actress maintained a vegan diet throughout her pregnancy.

She recently showed off her bump on the cover of "Fit Pregnancy," telling the magazine, "I really like being pregnant. I'm in awe of the process and the science. And seeing my belly move is pretty amazing; it's like in the movie 'Alien.'"

Deschanel's "Bones" co-star T.J. Thyne shared the news on Twitter: "CONGRATULATIONS EMILY D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!," he posted Wednesday. "Yay yay yay!!! :o)"
