NBA star and husband of Khloe Kardashian Lamar Odom was involved in a near-fatal car accident Thursday while en route to his cousin’s funeral in New York City, E! News reports.
The Lakers star was riding in the backseat of a car service when the driver of his vehicle collided with a motorcyclist.
According to MediaTakeOut, a witness reported that the car struck the motorcyclist, who was taken to a nearby hospital. The gossip website reported that a 15-year-old pedestrian was also injured at the time of the crash.

Odom was not injured in the accident, a rep for Odom’s wife, Khloe Kardashian, said.
The rep also said Kardashian was not in the car at the time of the crash, correcting earlier reports that she was also traveling in the vehicle.
