"Boardwalk Empire" star Paz de la Huerta was charged Tuesday with assault and other counts after she allegedly punched a former reality TV star at a Manhattan hotel.

De la Huerta and Samantha Swetra, a former star of MTV's "The City," got into a verbal dispute at The Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District on March 20.

The fight apparently began after Swetra made a few snide remarks aimed at de la Huerta -- prompting the actress to throw a glass and punch the reality star in the face.

"I'm a real actress on HBO," de la Huerta shouted at Swetra before allegedly attacking her.

Swetra claims the attack left her with a bloody nose and bruised mouth, prosecutors said. De la Huerta was also charged in Manhattan Criminal Court with criminal possession of a weapon, attempted assault and harassment.

An order of protection was also issued barring de la Huerta from contacting Swetra.
