It's not every day you catch a performance from a legendary Motown group, and it's even rarer to catch two legendary Motown groups in the same show — but that's exactly what Broadway has planned for theatergoers this holiday season.

Starting December 29, The Temptations and The Four Tops are coming to the Great White Way for one week only, singing classics like "My Girl," "Just My Imagination," "Reach Out I'll Be There" and "Bernadette" among many, many more.

"This will be our second time, for The Temps and The Tops to be on Broadway," explains Otis Williams, a founding member of The Temptations. "Here we are repeating history again."

It's no surprise they're back for a second round, either. With music that shaped the sound of Motown (and with it, the '60s and '70s), both groups have been in high demand for more than 50 years. And thanks to a friendly rivalry between the groups, they keep getting better and better.

"When The Tops hit the stage, we said, 'Well, we gotta go out there and work, 'cause we know The Tops are gonna try and wipe us off the map,'" Williams says. "It's the same way when we go out there. But we try to do that to give the people a real good show."

Watch the video above to hear more from Williams, as well as original Four Tops member Abdul "Duke" Fakir. And be sure to get tickets for "The Temptations and The Four Tops on Broadway," on sale now.
