The Japan Meteorological Agency says a moderately strong earthquake has shaken the Japanese capital for the third time in four days.
The agency said a quake with a magnitude of 5.0 struck Wednesday at 7:25 a.m. Japan time northwest of Tokyo at a depth of 50 kilometers (30 miles).
The agency said there was no tsunami risk, and there were no immediate reports of damage or injury.
